In that time I've worked on three SaaS platforms and been lucky enough to work with some of the best people in the area and some of the biggest companies on the planet. From PayPal, Wells Fargo & RBS, it's been amazing to see how the talent in Leeds has crafted some amazing solutions that have impacted tens of thousands of users all over the world.

With the emergence of the Leeds digital awards, it's amazing to connect so many companies with serious potential alongside the people that power and influence the success of such a wide variety of digital offerings. It's a real honour to be part of it and to hopefully watch the Leeds digital scene continue to grow from strength to strength."

Here is a little bit about some of the reasons Panintelligence was shortlisted....

- This year, we have launched Pi Analytics, which is a predictive analytics tool designed to be easy to use for non-technical people, which encourages them to use the data they collect.

"- Pi Analytics allows users to automatically discover data using machine learning. It’s possible to slice and dice data sets to try to determine the most important characteristics.

- By removing the technical barrier, we can put these tools in the hands of the people who know their businesses and are best-placed to interpret the results.

- Pi Analytics can encourage real-world change. For example, the module was used to help hospitals learn why x-rays had to be retaken on occasion, which costs the hospitals more money, wastes time, and subjects the patients to a double dose of radiation.

- Pi Analytics produces models laid out as Sankey diagrams. Each element of the Sankey is labelled with a row identifier and a percentage, to allow the user to figure out how impactful each subset is.

- Pi Analytics can be embedded into other software; our OEM partners can white-label and rebrand it as their own solution and integrate it with their product.

- It’s quick for users to build an analytical model, and users can just as easily rebuild the model with additional characteristics or after removing characteristics they want to omit."
