LDF AWARDS 2019: MEET THE SHORTLIST!

For the last month, the people of Leeds have been nominating their digital heroes for the Leeds Digital Festival Awards 2019. 

The awards are a chance to recognise and celebrate all the people driving the digital sector in the city and will take place at Headrow House on April 30th. 

The judging panel was presented with over 200 nominations for the likes of Start-up of the year, entrepreneur of the year, One to Watch 2019, Tech4Good and more. It wasn't an easy decision process with so many fantastic entrants deserving of a spot on the shortlist. 

If you've been paying attention to Twitter and Linkedin over the last 24 hours you will know that the judging panel has made their decisions and the final shortlist has now been announced.

This award recognises the business leader who inspires innovation with the drive to make ideas become a reality, driving their team to success.




This award recognises individuals, tech hubs, incubators, universities, co-working spaces, events or other organisations that support the tech and digital ecosystem in Leeds and the wider city region.




This award celebrates the team player with big ambitions who goes above and beyond to do themselves, their team and their company proud.




 This award celebrates the hard work and success of tech and digital start-ups in Leeds and the city region who have shown the best innovations and/or company growth.




The award for the tech business showing the most growth in the last 12 months through their success, driving increases in headcount / or decreasing turnover. 




The award for ground breaking research or project that pushes the possibility in tech and digital.




The person, organisation or technology that is delivering positive change within communities or the environment and making the world a better place.




The company doing the most for its employees through training, development and innovative working practices in the tech / digital community.

A massive congratulations to everyone shortlisted and to everyone who took the time out to recognise all those people, and organisations making a difference in the digital sector in Leeds by nominating.
