I currently have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer based in Leeds City Centre.

The role involves working for an organisation that are innovators and leaders that put technology at the heart of what they do.

The projects you will be working on will be challenging and there is an emphasis on clean code and scalability. The systems you will develop will be used by millions of people in the UK and, at times, concurrently. If you want to work for a company that embraces Microservices, the cloud and TDD then this job is for you.

The company are tech agnostic, they use the tech stack what suits the job the best. At the moment they use tech including React, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, PHP, Kafka, MySQL, MongoDB and AWS.

There are frequent R&D sessions and a large selection of new products and new technology have come from a result of recommendations by Developers within the business. You get set times dedicated to learning and they have knowledge sharing sessions, if you’d like to learn a new area (mobile development, DevOps etc) then you can learn this from one of your colleagues and vice versa.

They are happy to consider individuals from either a PHP or JavaScript background. They want polyglots that are happy to work with different technology

They are offering a salary between £45,000 - £55,000 and an excellent benefits package with unprecedented perks, they are super flexible and have won numerous awards for how they treat their employees. If you want to look forward to coming to work every day and work with some of the brightest minds in Yorkshire then apply here.
